Using its own proprietary funds, Hannon Armstrong selectively invests risk capital in opportunities that need highly focused development support and a sophisticated investor who can actively manage the unique risks of each project. These special situations are often outside the parameters of many conventional investors, requiring the specialized perspective of industry veterans who have the freedom to act opportunistically. We have invested in a range of infrastructure assets over the years including:
• Geothermal independent power producer in California
• Dedicated and secure fiber optic system in the Pacific Ocean
• Power generating assets on US Government property
• Cement importation facility

We can invest alongside trusted partners or on a standalone basis. We have no mandated hold period and are comfortable holding positions for any duration appropriate to the situation.
