JEFFREY W. ECKEL
- Mr. Eckel is the President and CEO of Hannon Armstrong and
brings 25 years of experience in financing infrastructure
assets, in both financial services and industry capacities.
He received an MPA from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University
and a BA in Political Science from Miami University. (Vcard)
DAVID K. WATSON - Mr. Watson is Senior Vice President, responsible for managing Hannon Armstrong’s investments in the federal contract marketplace. He has 23 years of experience in domestic and international project development and structured finance. Mr. Watson has an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management, and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. CHRISTOPHER J. LORD
- Mr. Lord is Senior Vice President and General Counsel of
Hannon Armstrong and brings 20 years of experience in corporate
finance, M&A and energy law. He received a JD from Cornell
University School of Law where he was Senior Editor of the
Cornell Law Review and a BA in International Studies from

SCOTT J. FOSTER
- Mr. Foster is Senior Vice President of sales responsible
for the federal information technology and telecommunications
markets. He combines 17 years of federal business development
with structured finance experience, most recently with GE
Capital. Mr. Foster earned a BA and a MBA with a concentration
in finance from Marymount University and is a Certified Public

JOHN J. CHRISTMAS
- Mr. Christmas is Senior Vice President focused on the federal service contract markets that are related to Government Infrastructure Projects, including power generation and energy/utility services. He combines 17 years of commercial banking, government contracting and institutional lending experience. He received a MBA in Finance from Marymount University and an MS in Finance from George Washington University and a BS degree in Economics from George Mason University. (Vcard)
NATHANIEL J. ROSE,
C.P.A. - Mr. Rose is Vice President responsible for
Hannon Armstrong’s Energy Savings Performance Contract
program. He is also responsible for quantitative analysis
and transaction modeling. He earned a BS/BA at the University

KATHERINE MCGREGOR
DENT - Ms. Dent is Deputy General Counsel responsible for closing receivables acquisitions and securitizations. She has over nine years experience in government contracts and corporate law. Ms. Dent has a JD from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. (Vcard)
DANIEL K. MCMAHON,
CFA - Mr. McMahon is Vice President in charge of structuring and placement. Mr. McMahon has nine years of experience in the financial services sector, most recently with T. Rowe Price. Mr. McMahon received his BA from the University of California, San Diego, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. (Vcard)
LISA A. HALE
- Ms. Hale is Controller responsible for
all Asset Management. She has over 25 years of accounting
experience in public accounting and private industry. She
has a BS in accounting from the University of Arizona, Tucson,

MICHAEL J. HESTER - Mr. Hester is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer responsible for Hannon Armstrong’s financial reporting, tax compliance and administration. He has extensive experience in both public accounting and the financial services industry. He received his BS in Accounting from the University of Maryland and became a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland. (Vcard)

Jon Armstrong
Jon was co-owner and co-chairman
of Hannon Armstrong from 1983 until his passing in 2005. Jon’s
entrepreneurial endeavors also include the development
of numerous successful enterprises and business ventures
including: Pathlore Software Corporation, the telecommunications
company General Offshore Corporation, Corporate Incentive
Travel and others. Additionally, Jon served on the board
of directors of several companies during his business
career.
Jon was a world traveler,
wine enthusiast, a technologist, a brilliant engineer
and voracious reader of history. Jon and Kathy lived
in McLean, VA. Most importantly, Jon was a devoted husband,
loving father and new grandfather. Jon is survived by:
his wife, Kathy Burley Armstrong, his two daughters
Ashleigh Armstrong Chapman and Lindsay Chandler Armstrong,
his mother Mary Katherine Armstrong, his sister, Elizabeth
Ann Barth and his granddaughter Rowan Meredith Chapman.
He will always be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, yet his example of integrity and civility continues to inspire us, both personally and professionally.
