Sustainable Infrastructure

Overview

Hannon Armstrong invests in sustainable infrastructure projects that positively impact the environment or enable the efficient use of natural resources, including upgrades to power or distribution systems and stormwater remediation projects. We invest in projects through ownership and leasing of power transmission lines or telecommunications lines, upgrades in transmission or distribution systems, water, and stormwater infrastructure and seismic retrofits. We focus on assets that provide an essential public service, typically have contractually committed cash flows, and maintain a strategic competitive advantage, while increasing energy system resiliency, positively impacting the environment or more efficiently using natural resources.
