Sustainable Infrastructure

Hannon Armstrong invests in a range of other sustainable infrastructure (SI) projects beyond grid-connected and behind-the-meter electricity markets. These SI assets provide an essential public service, typically have predictable cash flows, and maintain a strategic competitive advantage while increasing energy system resiliency, positively impacting natural ecosystems, or more efficiently using resources as a source of electricity. These project investments include renewable natural gas plants, transportation fleet enhancements, ecological restoration projects, water/stormwater systems, seismic retrofits, the ownership and leasing of power transmission lines or telecommunications lines, and upgrades to transmission or distribution systems.
